About the event

Join us for a coastal cycle to Roa Island and back, with a stop for an interesting talk on the importance of seagrass, and what Cumbria Wildlife Trust is doing to help restore it!

We will be meeting at Morrisons car park where there will be toilets inside for those who need it before we set off. The cycle route is a total of 8 miles there and back. At the half way point (Roa island) there will also be toilets. The route is on a board walk going down the coastal path, and is relatively smooth and flat terrain.

Confidence cycling a bike and a helmet are essential for all attendees.

Regular bikes and e-bikes are available to borrow for the event - these must be booked in advance by contacting Jess at jessicam@cumbriawildlifetrust.org.uk

Cost: Free
