Local support groups in Cumbria
What are local support groups?
We have a network of 9 local support groups in Cumbria that organise various wild and wonderful events for both Cumbria Wildlife Trust members and non-members.
These can be illustrated wildlife talks by a guest speaker (which usually take place in winter) or walks, open gardens, plant sales or even a duck race.
The groups are run by committees and annual general meetings to elect new committee members take place at the beginning of each year.
How can I get involved with a local support group?
Members of the Trust are welcome at any local support group and are sent information about these.
If you fancy helping out at a local support group event, joining the committee or have any ideas for future events, just give the representative listed below a call.
