Local support groups in Cumbria

What are local support groups?

We have a network of 9 local support groups in Cumbria that organise various wild and wonderful events for both Cumbria Wildlife Trust members and non-members.

These can be illustrated wildlife talks by a guest speaker (which usually take place in winter) or walks, open gardens, plant sales or even a duck race.

The groups are run by committees and annual general meetings to elect new committee members take place at the beginning of each year.

How can I get involved with a local support group?

Members of the Trust are welcome at any local support group and are sent information about these.

If you fancy helping out at a local support group event, joining the committee or have any ideas for future events, just give the representative listed below a call.

You can also join a local support group at one of their events or contact them directly using the details below.
