Welcome to Squirrel webcam, streaming live from Bowber Head Farm Nature Reserve

Click on the play icon below to watch the red squirrel cam:

Our camera provides an up close view of wild red squirrels & other wildlife that visit a squirrel feeding station at Bowber Head Farm Nature Reserve, Ravenstonedale, near Kirkby Stephen.

When are you likely to see red squirrels on this cam?

The red squirrels tend to make an appearance in the earlier part of a day. If there aren’t any red squirrels on the live cameras today, you can watch some pre-recorded footage via our YouTube channel. Click the play icon to watch it.

We're also working to install a second red squirrel live web cam at Smardale Nature Reserve – getting the relevant connections in place is just taking a little longer than we planned.

If you can, please will you donate to help with the cost of running these cameras and the upkeep of the habitats these squirrels rely on?  Thank you.
