About the event

We’ve hidden space-themed geocaches as well as planet-themed and sea-themed painted rocks. While looking for geocaches and rocks, you are likely to encounter abandoned fishing gear and marine litter. We will be providing beach clean equipment so that you can also help clean up the beach and coastal path. No prior knowledge of any of this is required – everything will be explained on the day!

About Geocaching

Geocaching is a global game where ‘caches’ are hidden around the world. These caches take players to new locations, and are found by following GPS coordinates and clues or using the geocaching app. The Bay: A Blueprint For Recovery have hidden space-themed geocaches along the coastal path between the Round House and Earnse Bay. At this event, you will be given help to find the geocache located by the Round House, as well as advice on how to find the other geocaches.

Either a smartphone with the Geocaching app or a GPS would be useful but not essential.
