About the event

Would you like to tell apart one pollinator from another? Join tutor Stuart Colgate, from the Cumbria Biodiversity Data Centre, for a workshop teaching insect pollinator identification.

You will spend half the day out in the field guided by Stuart searching for different pollinators. Some basic knowledge of pollinator identification would be helpful but not essential.

Booking essential. Group size will be limited to 6 including the leader.

Please do not attend if you show any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with Covid-19. Please always adhere to social distancing.

Sturdy walking shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather. 
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we will be unable to provide refreshments. Please bring your own water and any other refreshments you would like.

Parking information

There is a car park called Swifts Bank Carpark next door to Turf Tavern. Alternatively, there is free parking on Newark Terrace Road.
