About the event

We are looking for volunteers to help do some beach cleaning along our dunes and shorelines before the birds come back to nest.  Learn about Dynamic Dunescapes project and wildlife along the way.

Booking essential. Group size will be limited to 6 including the leaders.

Event subject to cancellation if adverse weather

Please do not attend if you show any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with covid. Please adhere to social distancing at all times.

Know before you go


Dogs permitted
During the bird breeding season (1 April – 15 August), access is restricted to designated paths and Slitch Ridge is closed. No dogs (except assistance dogs) are allowed on the island at this time to protect birds from disturbance.

What to bring

You must provide your own work gloves.  Other equipment will be provided.  Please wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear..

Bring your own refreshmentsand we recommend  that you bring your own hand sanitiser and a face mask.
