Sponsor trees today, for yourself or as a gift, and help to grow 600,000 trees. Together we’ll bring a rainforest to life!

Your donation will help to bring trees and wildlife back to the Skiddaw Forest landscape. With the help of volunteers, we’re going to plant 25 species of native trees and shrubs on the slopes, creating a rich haven for lichens and mosses, and a home for upland birds, mammals and plants.

We’re growing the trees locally in Cumbria, at community nurseries in Kendal, Penrith, Bassenthwaite and Carlisle, as well as in partnership with HMP Haverigg. Your sponsorship donation will help to keep these nurseries running, by funding electricity and water supply, compost and tools, and staff to co-ordinate volunteer tree-growing.

The rainforest we grow together will cover 20% of the Skiddaw Forest area and will take around 100 years to mature – so this really is an investment for the future of our planet.
