This role is vital in supporting our fundraising efforts, ensuring a seamless experience for our valued supporters, members and donors alike.
Individual Giving Administration Assistant
Salary: £8,010 per annum based on 10.5 hours per week (£26,700 FTE)
Length of post: Fixed term for 2 years with the possibility of extension
We are looking for an experienced administrator to liaise with individual donors about their gift and to thank them in a timely and friendly manner. This includes appeals for specific projects and pledges through gifts in wills. Ensuring our support database is kept up to date with any changes.
Special Features of the Role:
The post holder will be an efficient administrator and customer focused in everything they do. Working closely with our membership and finance team, our ideal candidate will have a positive, flexible approach and a can-do attitude. Previous experience working in a fundraising administrative role, preferably in a charity or non-profit environment, would be desirable.
Main responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Acknowledging donations, gift aid and recording communications.
- Administering legacy communications and liaising with donors and family members.
- Administering our memory leaf scheme.
- Updating the central contact database.
- Assisting other staff with the administration of campaigns, appeals and mailings.
- Administer income generation schemes.
