Mobility

AM (10am – 12pm): The Seawatch survey is planned to take place from the coastal path, a short walk (approx. 500m) up a fairly steep grassy path. However, if there are participants who would not be able to reach this location, a different survey site can be chosen. Please contact the organisers regarding your accessibility needs, and we will do our best to accommodate.

PM (1pm – 4pm): The rocky shore survey takes place on a mixture of large boulders and bedrock, which is often covered in slippery mud and seaweed. The survey location is around 300m from the car park, via a steep ramp. Participants should be comfortable with walking over uneven ground and bending down to look in the rockpools. Please contact us in advance to discuss your accessibility requirements as we will do our best to amend the survey to accommodate.
