A Wilder Carlisle
Can you imagine a city buzzing with life? Colourful wildflowers, busy bees, and a chorus of birdsong providing a backdrop to community spaces where people and wildlife grow together?
Cumbria Wildlife Trust is hoping to develop a project to transform unloved and underused spaces into something that brings life and colour in to communities.
We want to know the places in your community that could do with a little TLC and that will make a real difference to the people in your area. We also want to know what you’d like to see happen there.
We’re looking for projects that:
- Improve community spaces
- Create new wildlife habitat in urban areas
- Benefit local people in the Carlisle district

Your responses will help us develop a funding application, which if successful, will help us support community projects in Carlisle. We can’t promise to support all projects, but if yours doesn’t fit this funding application we will get in touch to see if we can offer other advice or support.
