Do you love nature? Do you enjoy meeting people? Do you live in west coast of Cumbria? Nature and community enthusiasts needed to support Cumbria Wildlife Trust running wildlife clubs in Maryport.

Position details

Commitment:

Friday

Frequency:

Weekly

We are looking to improve young people's access to nature by building on our bank of existing volunteers to develop our wildlife clubs.  With three groups established over the last year, we are looking for one or two volunteers to support the Maryport group.

Sessions run every Friday during term-time from 4-5:30pm.

This role involves working with children, so a DBS check will be required, we can do this for you. Patience and resilience are essential. We need First Aiders too, and we can also help you access this training.

As these are mostly beach-based clubs, an interest in the sea and shore is helpful.

Role is not suitable for wheelchair users or under 16s.
