Volunteer Wardens, role description

We're looking to recruit volunteers for a new pilot scheme to help us keep eyes-and-ears on our nature reserves, and get involved with their management.

With so many nature reserves to care for, we need help to check them after storms, look out for issues with fences and walls, pick litter, and report any other problems you find.  If you already visit one of our nature reserves regularly, this could be the perfect role for you!

No previous experience or natural history knowledge needed.  There is also the opportunity to get involved with management on our nature reserves if that is something you want to do.

To get you started, you'll meet up with the Reserves Officer to discuss the role more and explore the nature reserve to get you started.
