About the event

The Fell Pony Society will be giving a talk on this unmistakeable icon of the northern fells. We’ll learn about the breed’s history, its uses and its innate relationship with the Cumbrian landscape. The Fell Pony Society was formed in 1922 and Sue, our speaker, will explain how it has sought to preserve and educate about this important part of Cumbria’s heritage.
