About the event

Emma Hughes, Community Engagement Officer, will describe how Cumbria Connect is bringing people, farming and wildlife together. This is an ambitious landscape-scale nature restoration project stretching from Penrith to Kendal.

The scheme also aims to benefit local people by improving access,supporting health and wellbeing, providing opportunities for outdoor learning and skills development and celebrating farming traditions.
