Become a Rockpool Roadie and help take a portable rockpool to people who can't access the beach!
| The Bay: A Blueprint For Recovery is a nature and wellbeing programme aimed at encouraging people to get outside and connect with each other. But what about people who can’t get out into nature – for example, people in hospitals and care homes? How to help them get the benefits of nature? The answer: bring nature to them! |
Rockpool Roadies are needed to collect snails, crabs, anemones and seaweed from Earnse Bay, safely transport them to the location where the ‘portable rockpool’ activity will take place, help people safely handle and learn about these creatures, and return the rockpool creatures to the sea at the end of the day.
This role is flexible - you can choose which events you would like to help on.
