After battling storm damage and rogue wildlife, our walls are in desperate need of repair!

Position details

Commitment:

Any Day

The boundaries of our reserves are essential to help us manage grazing livestock on the nature reserves - an important management tool to help us restore and maintain these habitats.

Volunteers need to be physically fit to access the work areas, and to carry out the task.  This is a role with minimal supervision , with volunteers working together to carry out repair works.  We are unable to offer training at this time so volunteers will already need to have experience in drystone walling.

The repairs mainly consist of replacing wall tops but some sections may need a complete rebuild.

The role is flexible on dates and times to suit volunteer availability.
