Join Cumbria Wildlife Trust’s Scott Petrek as he explains what we know about the mysterious subject of bird migration and the different ways in which birds fly together.

He'll talk through: 

  • - what migration is, what it means for birds and the UK’s place in flyways
  • - how migration was confirmed
  • - what we've discovered since, using bird ringing and GPS tracking
  • - which species to look out for in Cumbria and where to go to see them

This session takes place online, so you can join us from the comfort of home. We use Zoom and details of how to join will be provided when you book. Please read the confirmation email carefully.

We expect the session to last 1 hour, and there will be opportunity to ask questions. We record all of our online events and everyone who registers will receive the recording after the event.
