About the event

Mycorrhizal Ecologist, David Satori, joins us to explore the intersection of two fascinating worlds – mossy, magical temperate rainforests and the mysterious kingdom of fungi.

He'll give us an overview of the ecology of temperate rainforests from a mycological vantage point, discuss the importance of fungi for woodland health and resilience, and showcase some examples of temperate rainforest fungi that you can find.

David is a PhD researcher at Kew Gardens studying the ecology of temperate rainforest mycorrhizal fungi.
