TheLakeDistrict.org website, which offers useful information for visitors about all aspects of Lake District life, from accommodation to walks and days out, wanted to lend its support to the Trust’s conservation projects across the county.

Kimberly Bayliss, Digital Editor at TheLakeDistrict.org said: “As a company which promotes tourism in the Lake District National Park and truly cares about the conservation of its wildlife and nature reserves, supporting Cumbria Wildlife Trust seemed like a 'no brainer'. We are very grateful to the Trust and all of its volunteers for their dedicated work and only hope that our small contribution can help make a difference.”

Michelle Waller, Senior Development Officer at Cumbria Wildlife Trust said: “We’re very grateful for the support that TheLakeDistrict.org gives us as a corporate member. As we know, the natural beauty of this region attracts so many people to come and visit and while they’re here, they can enjoy the wonderful wild places and animals that we help conserve. Companies such as TheLakeDistrict.org help us stand up for local wildlife, create wildlife havens, and raise environmental awareness across the county.”
