About the event

We’re joined by mycophile Ali McKernan (aka @The FUNgi Guy) for a foray into fungi – where to find them and how to identify them, with a few curiosities and interesting bits and bobs along the way!

Ali is a fungal artist, educator, video maker, song writer, outreach co-ordinator and all-round fungi fanatic. He loves to make fungi accessible to all, and through his education and outreach roles with schools, the North West Fungus Group and the British Mycological Society, he’s on a mission to make somebody somewhere see fungi in a new light.
