About the event

Did you connect with nature even more during lockdown and feel inspired to raise more money for local wildlife?

Then sign up to take part in our Cross Bay Walk challenge and fundraise for Cumbria Wildlife Trust whilst enjoying spectacular scenery as you cross the Morecambe Bay sands with the walk's official guide Michael Wilson.

Come with your family, friends, or even on your own - everyone is welcome!

The walk is from Arnside to Kents Bank railway station and is around 8 miles long. Adults must be prepared to carry children (and dogs!) when they are tired and at the crossing of the estuary. The terrain is unsuitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Walkers are asked to arrange their own transport at the end of the walk. Full details available on booking.

The registration fee includes a free event T-shirt!

Registration fee: £12.50 for adults and £7.50 for children (includes a free event T-shirt)

Additional booking information

Whilst we're excited to be taking bookings for this year's Cross Bay Walk, due to the nature of the sands and the Covid-19 pandemic, the event may be cancelled at short notice to ensure your safety.
