Good news, the osprey nest cameras are now broadcasting live!

The daily action and life from the nest is now available for you to watch free of charge every day.

The breeding adults returned safely in April (such a relief) and the female laid three eggs. On the 27th May, we were delighted to see the all three eggs have hatched and the parents are providing well, bringing and feeding fish. Sadly, on the 30th May we had reports that one chick had died.

So, if you can, please help with a donation towards the costs of these cameras and keeping them running. Whatever you can afford to give helps.

If you'd prefer to speak to us and give your donation over the phone - you can call us on 01539 816300. We'd love to hear from you.

So far, £4,314 (including Gift Aid) has been donated. Thank you,

Simon Thomas
Nature Reserve Officer

PS We hoped to be able to include this year sound and night-vision but, as we haven't yet covered the costs of buying and installing the cameras last year, we don't have the money for this upgrade.

Please help to raise the money needed over this year by making your donation now

Cheques can be posted to Cumbria Wildlife Trust, Plumgarths, Crook Road, Kendal LA8 8LX marked 'osprey camera appeal'.
