Local support groups

How can I get involved with the local support group in my area?

Join the group at one of their events, or contact them directly using the contact details below

What are these groups?

We have a network of 9 local support groups in Cumbria that organise various events for both members and non-members.These can be illustrated talks by a guest speaker (which usually take place in winter) or walks, open gardens, plant sales or even a duck race. The groups are run by committees and annual general meetings to elect new committee members take place at the beginning of each year.

How can I get involved?

As a member of the Trust, you are welcome at any local support group and you are sent information about these. If you fancy helping out at an event, joining the committee or have any ideas for future events, just give the representative listed below a call. Information about local support group events can also be found in our What's On events listings.
