A seven-day course to help you identify edible plants

Summer is a wonderful time to get out into nature, to enjoy the sunlight dancing on water and filtering through the trees, and an abundance of wildlife to spot.

Our seven day course will help you identify different edible plants you'll be able to find in Cumbria. You'll receive an email each day with information about a plant, including where you're likely to find it and how to identify it.

Please be aware this is an identification guide only. Collecting and consuming wild food is a potentially dangerous activity. It should only be done by those with the knowledge and experience to identify species correctly. If you decide to collect wild food, please leave enough for nature.
