Do you like spending time in the fells? Would you like to help look after the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales whilst doing what you love?

Find out more here and sign up to join our team of volunteers

We have been restoring peatlands across Cumbria because they are an important carbon store, help slow the flow of water to reduce flooding and have amazing and unusual wildlife.

Peatland volunteers must have a good level of fitness and ideally be accustomed to being in the hills for several hours at times in poor weather conditions

If you' think this is for you please register as a volunteer with us ticking the Peatland Restoration work box.  You can do this online here.
