Annual General Meeting 2020
, Kendal, Cumbria, LA8 8LX
About the event
Members are invited to join us for this year’s AGM, which will be taking place online for the first time. The format is new but you will still be able to hear about the Trust’s work to protect wildlife and wild places, thanks to your support over the past year.
The AGM will receive the Audited Accounts & Balance Sheet for 2019-2020 and the Board’s Annual Report, and will be asked to vote for the election of a new Trustee and to appoint the Auditors for the 2020-2021 financial year.
Presentations from Chief Executive, Stephen Trotter and Senior Reserves Officer, Joe Murphy will reveal highlights from across a wide range of conservation projects and nature reserves, and offer reflections on how nature plays a vital role in lifting people’s spirits, especially during these difficult times. You’ll also find out about plans for the future, and hear how the Trust is responding to the pandemic.
As the AGM is taking place online, you can join us from the comfort of your own home. Please book in advance. All you’ll need is a laptop, desktop PC, or smartphone. Details of how to join the meeting will be supplied upon booking. Please read your confirmation email carefully.
Everyone booking by 24 November is guaranteed to receive papers in advance, by email. Papers will also be available to download during the meeting. The 2019-2020 Annual Report & Accounts can be viewed on our website.
