About the event

As part of this year’s National Marine Week, take part in a bioblitz to help detect and record as many species as you can.

Meet us at the nature reserve to receive your bioblitz pack. You can then explore the walking route around the reserve and through the dunes, using your spotter sheets and maps to help you along the way. From butterflies to wild flowers, and from birds to grey seals, you will need to keep your eyes peeled and look really closely  there’s lots of fascinating wildlife to discover!

As part of Dune Detectives, we will be recording what we see on the day using the iNaturalist App. We recommend you download the App before attending the event, and instructions will be given on how to use the App to record what you see on the day.

We look forward to seeing you there!
