About the event

Drop in events:

1:15pm: Fungi foray – look for Slimy Earthtongues, Golden Spindles, Dung Roundheads, and even Parrots! As we go we’ll learn more about the wonderful world of mushrooms and toadstools, and other awesome autumn wildlife.

2:15pm: Spectacular spiders – learn amazing spider facts as we go on an adventure across the nature reserve to see what we can find.

Also, make bat bookmarks and spider’s webs; discover nature’s tricksters and treaters; and follow the adventures of the Raven of Eycott Hill! No need to book these events; just turn up on the day!

Bookable events:

Willow weaving: make a bat, spider, or witch’s wand at a workshop with Phil Bradley. Workshops will run at 1:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm. Places are limited so must be booked in advance, call 01539 816300 or email events@cumbriawildlifetrust.org.uk.

All events are free of charge, donations to Cumbria Wildlife Trust very welcome. Booking required for willow weaving workshops, for other events and activities just turn up on the day!
