Cumbria has a huge amount to offer if you enjoy the outdoors. If you would like to experience more wildlife when you are out and about take a walk on one of our stunning nature reserves. Our events give you an opportunity to meet like-minded people where you can learn about wildlife from each other, many of which are organised by our Local Support Groups.

If you would like to do something a bit more hands-on find out about volunteering and sign up for our volunteer newsletter Involve. We can offer you all sorts of experiences, we can use your skills or we can help you to develop new ones. Examples of our volunteer work include office work, wildlife surveying or just plain old sweat and toil.
