Cumbria Wildlife Trust is seeking neighbourhood recruiters to deliver booklets to homes in this area and help those interested in supporting Cumbria’s wildlife to become members of the Trust. If you find it easy to talk to others and enjoy meeting new people you will enjoy this job.  No experience necessary as full training is provided.

Pay: £7 per hour plus travel expenses and paid holiday leave
Hours: a minimum of 12 hours per week, mainly from 5pm - 9pm

This seasonal position runs until October 31st. An immediate start is available in most areas of Cumbria.

Project Officer - Barrow's Wildside

Fixed Term - 3 years
Salary £22,716 per annum + pension. Five days a week (35 hours).

We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with previous experience of practical conservation work, developing urban green spaces as wildlife areas, working with communities and co-ordinating volunteers.  The post will be based in the Neighbourhood Management Office in Barrow-in-Furness.

Barrow's Wildside is funded by Natural England through Access to Nature, as part of the Big Lottery Fund's Changing Spaces programme and supported by Barrow Borough Council. The deadline for applications is 5pm, Friday 20th August and interviews will take place on Tuesday August 31st.
