From the north:

• from junction 40 exit of the M6, take the second exit onto the A66 (eastbound)
• at the first roundabout take the fourth exit on to the A6
• drive through Eamont Bridge and go straight over the mini roundabout
• continue on through Clifton, just after the road goes over the motorway, turn right sign posted Askham and Lowther
• after about 400 yards take the right hand fork in the road sign posted Askham
• Sergents Barn is 200 yards down this road on your right.

From the south:

• at the first roundabout take the fourth exit on to the A6
• drive through Eamont Bridge and go straight over the mini roundabout
• continue on through Clifton, just after the road goes over the motorway, turn right sign posted Askham and Lowther
• after about 400 yards take the right hand fork in the road sign posted Askham
• Sergents Barn is 200 yards down this road on your right.
