Comfortable conference and meeting facilities that support the environment

Plumgarths is a beautiful historic 16th-century house on the edge of the Lake District. Located just off the A591, two miles from Kendal, it is only a short drive from junction 35 of the M6.

Plumgarths is set in its own extensive grounds with ample private parking. This attractive location , just minutes from the motorway, yet a stone's throw from Windermere and the heart of the Lakes, makes an ideal setting for small business meetings, conferences, seminars and training sessions.

Two rooms are available for hire, the meeting room and the conference suite, catering for eight and 20 respectively, the larger holding up to 40 when set up for presentations.

A kitchen adjoins the conference room and you are welcome to make your own arrangements for refreshments (details of local caterers are available on request). Tea and coffee can be provided for a small additional cost.

All proceeds from event bookings go straight to Cumbria Wildlife Trust, the county's only charity dedicated solely to the conservation of the wildlife and wild places of Cumbria.
