Health and safety

Cumbria Wildlife Trust is absolutely committed to the health, safety and welfare of its employees and volunteers.

The Trust has a health and safety policy which defines the Trust’s intentions, roles and responsibilities and our general approach towards health and safety. This policy is accompanied by the Trust’s health and safety codes of practice. These codes of practice cover specific topics and activities. Within this section of the website you can access all of these documents.

Cumbria Wildlife Trust encourages all staff and volunteers to report any health and safety issues as a matter of urgency and we always welcome any suggestions from both staff and volunteers. If you need to discuss any health and safety issue please contact our Health & Safety Officer - Kirsten Johnson on 01539 816300.
