Cumbria Wildlife Trust already protects some of Cumbria’s most rare and threatened wildlife on over 40 nature reserves. We aim to ensure a better future for wildlife through special species and habitat projects. We advise on policy and planning in the county and inspire people of all ages to gain a greater understanding of nature and environmental issues.
Cumbria Wildlife Trust’s record of success is a great tribute to all those who support our work. In recent years, the Trust has undertaken one of the largest peatbog restorations in the country; reintroduced populations of water voles; led efforts for red squirrel conservation; protected important wildlife sites from development and involved a network of over 500 volunteers in learning about and monitoring the wildlife of our county. Imagine what you can help us to achieve in the future.
Cumbria Wildlife Trust works to protect Cumbria’s unique wildlife for future generations to enjoy. This information explains how you can help, by leaving a gift to Cumbria Wildlife Trust in your Will.
