Legacies and memorial donations have given the Trust new opportunities and a sound financial base on which to plan future activites for wildlife. I simply cannot think of a more valuable gift to leave when I die than a contribution to the wildlife that adds so much to the fascination  of this county. After all, many poeple before me have done the same to allow you and me to enjoy everything that is special about Cumbria. Do we not owe the same to future generations?
